hi trullesand, i agree, the thing is, is that even the "good" music of today (and there is) will never sound as cool and authentic as yesteryear because of clinical approach in production technology. So it almost negates itself. (almost, cuz good music is subject to arguement) imo, we wont find anything like this song here. aswell, imo the 60s were endearing, and the 70s were the cream...it was a new concept of ,music..progressive rock...musical art and w/o all the tech to manipulate music. :)

I was 19 when this video was released, and in my opinion, nothing has beaten it to date.

people who were born in the forties say possibly the same: sixties music still was good. everything after that is silly. so it depends on your perception.
i agree that the vision of an artist has been blurred in the name of money. if you take a look at great bands/singers almost every one needed two, three or even four trials getting perceived. today you have one try and then goodbye. music industry is just as nearsighted as other industries of today. so foolish. because there IS good music.

I couldnt have said it any better, I totally agree with codern. I don't listen to a whole lot of music made after the year 2000. My appreciation has always been for the music made a few decades back. I'm so thankful it is still here today and has not faded away. Most tunes from the 80's are timeless classics that wont fade away anyway.

i wasnt finished lol..."Artists" vision has been blurred in the name of money, the times, technology and competition ...it may be a shame, but the positive byproduct of all this is that we can now "reflect" and APPRECIATE the great music of yesterday like never before...and imo..its just gna get better...our appreciation that is ;)

hey i said it before and i'll say it again..music of today (in the computer age) is accurately reflective of just that..clinical, manufactured, lackluster juvenile rubbish..."they" say there is great music today , but you have to know where to find it..true, but it still is somewhat reflective of the times, and the times suck, and so does the "music"!
