r.i.p the shield.appart from the wire it was one of the best programs on tv.pity the ending let it down

I don't think the end let it down. The Shield was all about cruel reality and I don't think it was a surprise there was no happy ending. After all Vic was the only to survive out of jail and alive but he got his punishment too. He lost his both families, the real one and the whole Strike team. I was speeechless and sad when I saw the ending but after all it was nothing but a great way to end this story.

I know. And Ronnie's in jail for life and Vic's basically in hell for the next three years.
